Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) is a one-time food benefit for families who lost access to free or reduced-price meals due to school closures. Eligible P-EBT families will receive application instructions from schools in late May. The P-EBT application will open the first week of June.
4/17/2020 Governor Abbott announced in an executive order Friday morning that all Texas schools are closed for the remainder of the school year.
What this means for Rockdale ISD:
•distance learning (on-line and paper based) will continue through the end of the school year
•alternate plans for awards ceremonies, graduation, etc. are in the works and will be announced in the coming days

Paid sick leave and expanded Family and Medical Leave Under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act
Due to the closure of campus and the cancellation of several extracurricular activities in response to the COVID 19 pandemic, we are making changes to the spring semester’s coverage in the 2020 yearbook. We are planning to devote space to a feature titled: “QuaranTIGERS.”
Please begin taking and sending any pictures that represent your quarantine to your yearbook staff. Please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include a description so that our staff can accurately caption your experience. We hope that everyone is doing well.
Tiger Fight Never Dies.
After a three week interview process, Dr. Monzingo is excited to announce that Coach Jacob Campsey will be the new Athletic Director for Rockdale ISD. "With over 70 applicants, things that stood out with Coach Campsey were his love of Rockdale, his goal to take Rockdale to the next level in all sports, and his desire to turn out not just great athletes, but great young adults."

The school report card (SRC) combines accountability ratings, data from the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR), and financial information to give a broad view of campus performance. Available for each campus in Texas, the SRC is intended specifically to inform parents and guardians about a school’s individual characteristics and its academic performance.
