SMART tag Parent Portal

We encourage all parents and guardians to access the SMART Tag Parent Portal and verify that the information we have on file for your child is accurate. Additionally, you will need to add any authorized persons to the portal who are allowed to pick up your child from the bus stop. Please be advised that for the safety of our PreK and Kindergarten students, they will only be released to persons authorized in the SMART Tag portal.

Free Meals for All Students

Rockdale ISD will provide free breakfast and lunch to all students at no charge for the entire 2026-2027 school year. 

All free meals will include: one entrée, one choice of milk, and the student’s choice of fruit and vegetables at both breakfast and lunch. Items not included in the free benefits include second meals, additional entrees and milk, and any à la carte snack items. Menus, service standards, and à la carte items will still be available. 

My School Bucks (Food Service Online Payments)

Breakfast & Lunch Menus

Families are encouraged to use our online payment process through My School Bucks to provide money for students to use to purchase snacks and extra items at all campuses.  If cash is used through the cafeteria line, we will accept exact change only.  Any amount over the purchase price will be applied to the students account and will be available for later purchases. This eliminates the need for money to be passed back and forth between staff and students. Thank you for your support as we continue to put practices in place to protect your children and our staff.  

ParentSquare

Rockdale ISD uses the ParentSquare and StudentSquare (Gr. 6-12) apps to communicate with parents, staff, and students. The apps are used for one-way emergency communication, as well as two-way communication between parents and teachers. ParentSquare offers notifications by phone, text, email, and push notifications.
