Tiger Learning Center (TLC)
Rockdale ISD's Early Childhood Center
The Tiger Learning Center (TLC) is dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education for children (6 weeks through Pre-k aged) and has been in operation since August 1, 2016. TLC has achieved accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC's accreditation system is the standard bearer for high-quality early learning programs. TLC is also a Texas Rising Star (TRS) facility. TRS is a quality-based child care rating system. TLC is rated a 4-star Rising Star center, the highest rating possible. The center is fully licensed by the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS).
TLC works closely with Workforce Solutions of Central Texas which provides TLC staff members with ongoing professional development, coaching, and mentoring that is focused on early childhood development and providing extraordinary learning environments for young children.
