Free Breakfast & Lunch for the 2024-2025 School Year
Rockdale ISD will once again offer free breakfast and lunch to all students. All free meals will include: one entrée, one choice of milk, and the student’s choice of fruit and vegetables at both breakfast and lunch. Items not included in the free benefits include second meals, additional entrees and milk, and any à la carte snack items. Menus, service standards, and à la carte items will still be available.
There are several options for families who have meal balances in their account:
- Leave balance in the account to purchase à la carte items (recommended) Rockdale ISD does not allow a la carte items to be charged.
- Allow the remaining balance to roll over to next year.
- Request a refund by following the instructions under “Request a Refund"

The National School Lunch and Breakfast Program at Rockdale ISD is planned and managed by Southwest Food Service Excellence LLC. We take pride in providing Rockdale students with well-balanced, nutritious meals.
