On April 7, 2022, the Rockdale ISD Education Foundation was formed and in May 2022 received 501(c)(3) non-profit organization status. The Foundation is governed by an independent, volunteer Board of Directors including business and community leaders, parents, and alumni who are committed to our district's school success. While the Foundation operates independently of Rockdale ISD, it shares a vision of educational excellence and student achievement. The Foundation shall receive and disburse funds, property, and gifts of any kind exclusively for the benefit of Rockdale Independent School District.
MISSION
The Rockdale ISD Education Foundation's mission is to provide opportunities for excellence in education, promote innovation in teachers, and partner with the community to enhance the quality of education for all students.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the Foundation is to partner with the Rockdale Independent School District to provide means for new programs and activities not supported by tax-based funding. It also promotes and recognizes academic excellence by students and innovative instruction.
