At its October 2015 meeting, the Rockdale ISD Board of Trustees charged the district with convening a Facilities Advisory Committee to review facility conditions and develop a set of recommendations that will guide the board's deliberations related to aging facilities, safety and security upgrades and other district-wide improvements.
The Facilities Advisory Committee represents a thorough cross-section of the community, including parents and non-parents, district faculty and staff, business owners and community leaders. The Committee is scheduled to meet from November through January to study results from a district-wide facility assessment and other planning documents. They will work collectively to develop a long-range facility plan that meets the district’s needs.
