Strategic Plan

In the fall of 2023, the Rockdale ISD Board of Trustees embarked on a mission to create a Balanced District Scorecard—a roadmap for the future of education in RISD. This scorecard outlines key priorities focused on students, staff, stakeholders, and stewardship, ensuring a well-rounded approach to district growth and success.

To build a strategic vision that reflects our community's values, RISD sought public input through surveys and multiple focus group sessions. This collaborative effort helped shape the final Scorecard, which was officially approved by the Board in November 2023.

Throughout the year, RISD staff will provide regular updates on the Scorecard’s implementation across the district. Adjustments and improvements will be made as needed to ensure we stay aligned with our goals and community expectations.
