Rockdale ISD Sets Tax Rate for 2025

The 2025 adopted tax rate is $0.048 less than the 2024 adopted tax rate.

ROCKDALE ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 4.28 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.

Rockdale ISD Awards Over $375,000 to Outstanding Educators Through Teacher Incentive Allotment

On Thursday, August 7, Rockdale Independent School District proudly recognized 23 exceptional teachers for their dedication, impact, and excellence in the classroom, awarding a total of $375,592 through the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program. Individual awards ranged from $4,539 to $24,529, marking a significant investment in educators who are changing lives every day.

RISD Education Foundation Awards $24,800 in Grants to Enhance Educational Programs Across School Campuses

 

The Rockdale ISD Educational Foundation awarded nine grants totalling $24,800 across all four campuses on Tuesday. The Foundation was accompanied by the RHS drumline, cheerleaders, drill team and Rocky the Tiger as they delivered the prizes to the winning educators.
